DEDEGOL MOUNTAIN
Eğirdir's mountaineering club organises a communal reunion up in the Dedegöl Mountain (2998m) after the 19 of May, usually during the night between Friday and Saturday that is spent at the Karagöl base camp (1600m). During the next morning, before 4:00 am a long day's trek starts to the peak and back down.
Around one thousand hikers participate for free, people just need to register through Eğirdir Outdoor Centre and organise their equipment. Transportation and meals can be arranged for the participants.
Surrounded by a turquoise blue lake and ringed by snow capped mountains, this cozy little town is a perfect place to relax, eat fresh fish, go hiking & cycling and get away from it all
