Salda Lake

Salda lake is not only one of the cleanest lakes in Turkey but with 196m also the deepest of the country and even the third deepest lake of the world.

Being at Salda Lake (Salda Göl) you can use the opportunity to not only take amazing pictures of the incredible colors of the lake and sand, but also to have a refreshing dip into the cool water. Due to its soil properties, Salda lake is rich of minerals and therefore idea for the treatment of some skin diseases like Akne.

Since the lake is close to Pamukkale, you can also combine a trip to Salda Göl with a visit of the world-famous travertines.

Getting there:

Salda is almost 150 km from Eğirdir. Getting there requires a change of bus in Isparta and will take you at least 3 hours. If you prefer to save some time and arrive more comfortable, we can arrange a transfer for you. If you wish a transfer, please let us know the evening before so we can do the necessary arrangements.
